Ever since I found a bunch of seed beads in my backyard 15 years ago, I have loved beading jewelry. Of course, I am still a novice at it (never taken any classes or read books about it...just observation) and want to learn more on the right techniques and tools to use. I also am seriously thinking of making a career of it....I want to make my own store, whether online or taking it to booths at festivals/etc here in town. I just have to figure out how to go about doing it. Do I need a license? Do I need to make a store name and get it copyrighted? How is that done? Then I'd need to make flyers, business cards, and other things to help get my store some recognition. There's lots to do. I am going to school now to get my Bachelor's in Business so I can have a better understanding of how all that works.
